Mr. RITESHKUMAR SHRIVASTAVA
Founder Director
Riteshkumar Shrivastava is known for his “Never Say Die” attitude and marathon-runner mindset when it comes to building long-term ventures. From creating platforms like Buy Smart to Health Smart, his entrepreneurial journey has consistently focused on solving real-world problems at scale. With this vision, he culminated the development of one of the most ambitious and disruptive ecosystem platforms aggregating the Indian Healthcare fraternity and its ancillary space — “FirstDoctor” & now building “The Founders Lab. Asia” around the start-up ecosystem to help start-up founders to build & grow their businesses globally.On January 22nd, 2020, he played a pivotal role in investing and anchoring the landmark ABS (Ashoka Business School) pitching event in Nashik, which became the foundation stone for The Founders Lab. Asia Inspired by the US-based Dragon’s Den format, this event went on to become one of the largest live start-up pitching platforms in the region, where six out of fifty two promising start-ups received on-the-spot funding from reputed investors including 100X, Venture Wolf, Bank of Maharashtra, and the Ashoka Group (Nashik).
Mr. JITENDRAKUMAR BADAMI
Co-Founder
With over 33 years of cross-industry experience, (including 9+ years in strategic leadership roles as Co-Founder, CEO, and National Business Head), he brings a rare blend of start-up agility and enterprise-scale vision. At a high-growth start-up, he helped take the journey from idea to USD 0.5 million in pre-seed funding, and as National Head, drove 400% revenue growth, enabling a successful Series A raise of USD 1.5 million. This phase also involved navigating a rigorous Deloitte India–led due diligence process, equipping him with deep investor-readiness and scale-up experience—foundational to the vision of building The Founders Lab. Asia as a globally competitive start-up ecosystem for India, aimed at reducing brain drain and reclaiming our nation’s spirit of being a “Golden Sparrow”, in it’s true ancient wisdom.
Long before India’s start-up wave gained mainstream visibility through platforms like Shark Tank, The Founders Lab made headlines in Jan.2020 at Ashoka Business School, Nashik, where 52 early-stage start-ups pitched live to leading investors including 100X.VC, Venture Wolf, Bank of Maharashtra, and the Ashoka Group (Nashik)—with 6 ventures securing on-the-spot pre-seed funding. For the past six consecutive years, he has mentored founders from raw ideas to pitch-ready, investor-aligned businesses, with a clear mission to identify high-potential Gen alpha to Gen z (Small z) innovators and founders, align their DNA to build fundable start-ups, and nurture them toward building scalable, high-impact ventures—aspiring to create the next generation of unicorns.
